【 The Bruery Barrel Aged Sour and Stout Beer Tasting(2)- April 19 】
The Bruery is a Craft Brewery located in California, specializing in barrel-aged and experimental beers. They are renowned for their range of “bold and flavorful” beers.
SOL Bubble Club will be hosting The Bruery Barrel Aged Sour and Stout Beer Tasting Series (2) on April 19th, featuring a selection of 7 limited edition barrel-aged sour and stout beers, known for their bold flavors:
1)Terroir Project: Malbec De Luz (Wine/Beer Hybrid) – 13%
This ale was laid to rest in French oak puncheons with Malbec Grapes sourced locally in Temecula where it matured and developed complexity, until the taste was just right.
2) Bourbon BA Bois 2013 (Barrel Aged Old Ale) – 15%
Crafted using the solera method, which blends a portion of all the prior year’s productions, it gains layers and complexity with each vintage. Celebrate silky notes of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla, and oak. These select barrels earned an additional kiss of wood with a second aging in Bourbon Barrels.
3) Imperial Cabinet (Gin Barrel Aged American Wild Ale) – 11.2%
Imperial Cabinet is a wild ale brewed in collaboration with Jester King. Created in honor of the Imperial Cabinet, an 1880’s New Orleans saloon, it was brewed with traditional gin botanicals and rested in gin barrels with citrus after spending a year in wine barrels. The result is laden with herbal and floral notes, bright lemon and lime zest, vanilla, warm oak, and comforting spices.
4) Beauregarde (Barrel Aged Sour Blonde Ale) – 6.5%
The addition of blueberries to the barrel-aged sour blonde ale, and it’s incredibly rounded from extended oak barrel-aging.
5) Horse in the Orchard (Barrel Aged Saison) – 6.3%
A delicate blend of foeder-aged tart saison and sour blonde ale, aged on Midas Plum and Apricots. Ripe with notes of freshly picked fruit, this blended sour ale is easy drinking, crisp, and refreshing.
6) White Chocolate Warmer (Barrel Aged Wheatwine) – 14.5%
A classic bourbon barrel-aged White Chocolate ale with generous helpings of fresh maple syrup to savory cacao nibs and vanilla beans, creating a delectable, well-rounded experience.
7) Marzipandemonium (Barrel Aged Imperial Stout) – 16.7%
Flavors of vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and bourbon barrel-aged bliss, and folded in almond character and extra vanilla to mimic the sweet, nutty notes found in marzipan.
